The title for my next romance e-book, "You'll Say Yes"
Synopsis for my next romance, "You'll Say Yes"
"Abby, will you marry me someday?"
Abigail Bennett and Joshua Walsh had been friends since they were kids. Following her parents' divorce, Abby moved away with her mother, leaving her good friend behind. Before she left, Abby made a promise with Joshua to one day become his wife. Years later, Abby moves back in with her father, and encounters her old friend. The friendship they once had is seemingly forgotten as Joshua treats Abby harshly, causing her to develop ill feelings toward him. When they meet again for a high school reunion, Abby is reminded of the promise, and what she thought was just a harmless agreement becomes so much more.
Coming on February 2015.

Thinking about my writing prospect
Today is the day when ABNA (Amazon's writing contest) announced for the second round. I submitted my future second ebook to them and as I predicted, I didn't make it. It's not a surprise for me. I mean...English is not my first language, how can I compete with those who speak and live with English 24/7?
I also think about my writing prospect. Looks like best seller is far from my reach (my first ebook is the clear example). But, I already made a promise to myself to publish my second ebook and after that, I have no idea. Perhaps writing fanfiction or original fiction published on Fictionpress is my choice.

Second e-book on the way...
After releasing my first e-book which I'm not very happy with the marketing, I have second e-book on the way. This time it will take more serious steps and hopefully, will come out on Valentine's week next year. It's still about romance and no erotica or Harlequin thing this time, but it's still could warm your heart.
For the first clue, it is about the childhood promise :)

My interview with author peer, J.C. Brown
I had this lovely interview two weeks ago and J.C. is really a nice person. Here is my interview with her :)
Julie: How are you today?
Tri: Feeling good. Just woke up. It's 5 am here. lol
Julie:I am sooo sorry! lol Do you need a bit to wake up?
Tri: Nah, I'm fine. I usually wake up in this hour.
Julie: Where exactly are you ?
Tri: Well, actually I'm in Indonesia
Julie : I would like to ask.. how old were you when you began writing seriously and what inspired you to do it?
Tri: I began writing when I was seven, but in my native language. It was because I have a lot of imagination and the best thing to pour it out is with writing. My genre is mostly fantasy and romance. I have a soft spot for both genres.

A Little Bit Love for To Love Again
Referring to my last post, I mentioned about some people love my ebook and most of them hate it. Looks like it's true. On a website where I put my ebook for free (well, not only Kindle which can give free ebook), one of the downloaders gave my ebook 4 star. It's both surprising and also lifted my mood alittle bit. After the hatred review I received, some people love it. Perhaps To Love Again indeed not for all readers. Picky and strict readers won't like or even love my ebook, but the others who look for entertainment probably love it.
There's always silver linings in every dark clouds. I wonder if my next ebook (the manuscript submitted to ABNA) will get the same treatment.

Since it's already reached 1k+ downloads, I plan to ask the website to delete my ebook tomorrow. I think it's enough for the exposure. If you have ebook and want to make it free, but don't like the Amazon-exclusive thing, free-ebooks.net could be your choice.

Nobody is Perfect
I just released my ebook, some of them love it and most hate it. Well, I guess I can't please everyone. As a matter of fact, I have one story which written before I wrote this ebook and submitted the story for ABNA (Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards). It's also translated to Portuguese and reached more than 2k reviews. So, I don't know why it is go wrong.
I'm not saying my manuscript will pass (I even doubt it), but I'm just curious over the taste of readers out there. I have soft spot for romance (and a little bit of erotica is fine for me) and I wrote stories with happy ending. Life is already gave us hard time, fiction should give a good distraction.
Let's see if I can do better with my next story. Aside from being submitted to ABNA, it's also being in editing and proofreading process.

To Love Again Excerpt #12
The last excerpt before the ebook release...
"I see. Did you have a
girlfriend before?"
I blinked.
"Um…yes."
"Why did you two break
up?"
Okay…where
will this conversation go?
"Because I didn't think she was
the one, sir."
"And now you think my daughter
is the one?"

Three more days...

Excerpt #11
He smiled
tenderly and approached me. Without saying a word, he kissed me deeply and I
just stood there with the papers in my hand. I welcomed his kiss and realized I
actually missed it. He took the papers from my hand and tossed them on my desk.
Without breaking our kiss, he sat on my chair and pulled me with him.
"Hmmm…"
he said when he broke our kiss, looking
deep into my eyes. “I missed you."
I smiled.
"I missed you too. I thought you were busy today."
Aidan
smiled dreamily and ran his hand up and down on my back. I shivered from his
touch.
"I can't stop thinking about you. Seriously, Lily. I can't
concentrate on my work. All I can think about is you…"
Kiss.
"Me…"
More
kisses.
"Shower…"
He cupped
my ass.
"Naked."

To Love Again Excerpt #10
After toying here and there, let's get to the hot stuff. Shall we? :)
Excerpt #10
Excerpt #10
I needed to feel more of him. His lips were
so soft, warm and wet. Without warning, and my mind's consent, I reached
up and grabbed the nape of his
neck and kissed him hard. His
tongue swept across my bottom lip, and I opened my mouth, allowing entrance
immediately. Our tongues danced around each other in an erotic dance.
I felt
the need to get closer to him, and Aidan must have felt the same, kissing me just as passionately and tugging me slightly so that I
maneuvered my position. I was now straddling him, never breaking our heated
kiss. I knotted my fingers in his hair at
the base of his neck, pulling slightly to deepen our kiss further, and
he moaned. His hands slid down my sides
to my ass where he began kneading my very hot, very wanting flesh. I
arched my back instinctively, bringing
our chests together.
Coming February 14.

To Love Again Excerpt #9
Excerpt #9
"You're
fucking kidding right? I refuse," I
screeched, trying so hard to steady my shaking body and the volume and tone of
my voice.
Shane
laughed again. "What are you saying, Lily? You know…every sane single
mother would be ecstatic if their ex-husband wanted to finally share custody of
their child, but yet you refuse?"
"I'm
not a sane single mom. I'm a realistic one."

Quick "interview"
One of my friends posted these two questions in my message and she would like for me to answer her questions in my blog. So, here it is:
Where did you get your inspiration for your stories?
Anywhere and anytime, and often it came unexpectedly. I have written one story where I got the inspiration when I cooked in my kitchen. The
stories which always play in my brain usually have a lot of audience. At
least for me.
What type of stories did you write or will you write in the
future?
It took nearly four years for me to find the most
comfortable writing style. I must say my writing style is simple and
entertaining because I believe real life already gave us a lot of things to do,
so fiction should give us a good distraction. I’ll still in romance area after
this ebook comes out.

Excerpt #8
Nathan looked sideway at Lily who was still
busy talking on the phone and then back at me. “Aidan, do you like my mom?”
I blinked and looked back at his brown
eyes, Lily’s eyes. “Yes, I do, Nathan. Very much.”
“Just don’t make her cry, okay. The last
time she cried was when she received a phone from someone. Probably from my
dad. He always makes her cry.”
My heart clenched.
“I promise, Nathan,” I said truthfully.
Honestly, making Lily cried was never crossed in my mind.
“I know my mom could be stubborn
sometimes but, I know she likes you too. She just needs time to realize that,”
Nathan continued.
I chuckled. This boy was amazing. “Are
you sure you’re nine? Because you just sounded like you’re 20 or older.”
Special Ebook Release
Since Valentine's Day is approaching and my novel is romance themed, I guess it's best to have a treat on the special day.
So, on February 14th, you can buy my ebook from Kindle and Kobo. Until then, stay tuned for the info.

And then, he pointed at the suit in my
other hand. “What is that?”
“Oh…Megan gave me this. She said it’s
for Nathan tomorrow.”
“Will you be here tomorrow?”
I nodded carefully. “Um…yes. Megan wants
me too.”
“I want it too,” Aidan interjected.

To Love Again Excerpt #6
Excerpt #6
"How's
everything going with Aidan?" she asked coyly.
I blushed
harder, realizing we were not discussing flowers anymore. "Um…it's
great."
Megan
titled her head. "Are you both still friends or…"
"Ugh!
Megan!"
She
giggled then smirked. "Aidan is a patient man, but I can see his patience
is wearing thin. Don't blame me if I told you he won't jump at you soon. Don't
you think that it's better if you jump at him first?"
God, that was all I thought about anymore was jumping him.
Available soon on printed and ebook.

To Love Again Excerpt #5
Excerpt #5
"So,
how did it go?" he asked me.
I could tell by the look on his face he
wanted to know every detail.
"It
was good." I was going to drag
this out as long as I could.
"Do
you like him too, Mom?"
Oh Nathan, you have no idea!
"Of
course. He's a nice guy."
Nathan smirked.
"I told you. So, have you guys kissed yet?"
"Nathan!"
Oh, my inquisitive boy!
"Isn't
a couple supposed to do that?"
He asked.
"We
are not a couple." Yet, I added mentally. Oh … well, what was I thinking?
"But,
he did kiss you, right? I saw you two yesterday.
You were just about to kiss."

To Love Again Excerpt #4
Excerpt #4
"Aidan
is not your only brother?" I asked her curiously. Another piece of
information that was important for me. I didn't know anything about Aidan's
family.
"Nope.
Henry is the first child. Aidan is the second child, and I'm the last child. Henry
is already married, and has a daughter," Megan answered proudly.
So, Aidan's
brother is already married, and now his sister is getting married. Was he
married?
"Is Aidan
married?" I asked Megan nervously. Although I hadn't seen a wedding ring,
that doesn't mean he wasn't single.
Megan
grinned. "No, not yet."
Why did this make me so happy?

I sighed
and sat across from him at my desk. "It's nothing."
"Is
it because of that flower girl?"
What? How
the hell does he know?
"What
flower girl?"
Play
dumb….that always works with Henry.
Henry
grinned. "Yup…definitely because of her. You can't fool me, brother."
Shit,
Shit, Shit! Now what the hell am I going to say to him? Think quickly!

Excerpt #2 ( visit my fb page for excerpt #1)
"Good
afternoon, Ma'am. I was just passing by. I was hoping to see you, but then I
saw this young man. I wondered if you had a child employee. It's against the
law, you know."
I
blinked.
W-what the hell is he talking about, a child employee?
"H-he's
not my employee. He's my son, and he's not working here, he was just helping me
while I ate my late lunch." I was starting to panic.
Who the hell was this guy?
Nathan
rolled his eyes. "He was just joking, Mom. He knows I'm your son."
"Oh…"

Sequel novels, yes or no?
When one of my friends found out about my upcoming novel, he
asked me whether I will write a sequel novel in the future or not. I answered
him that I might. I have one YA story which I considered to write the sequel,
but ended only for scratching my draft. I know a lot of my fellow authors have
sequel novels, but I don’t want to push my luck just to follow them. Every
author has their own uniqueness, as for myself I guess I have to wait until I
had my musing.
